CapCut User ID Finder
Paste a CapCut username or profile link and get back every public identifier for that account — user ID, public ID, web UID and avatar — ready to copy.
How it works
- 1
Paste a username or link
A bare username, an @handle, or a full capcut.com profile link all work — short links and links with tracking parameters are handled too.
- 2
We resolve the account
The tool normalizes whatever you pasted and looks up the live account on CapCut.
- 3
Copy what you need
Every identifier gets its own copy button, or grab the whole result as JSON in one click.
When to use this
- Filling in a CapCut user ID or web UID field in another tool or API.
- Confirming you have the right account before targeting it elsewhere on the site.
- Grabbing an account's avatar image directly.
What this doesn't do
- This reads public identifiers only — it can't look up private account details.
- It doesn't search by display name, only by username or a profile link.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between user ID, public ID and web UID?+
web_uid is CapCut's internal account identifier, used by most of its own API calls. public_id is the token embedded in mobile share links. Both point to the same account — which one you need depends on what you're building.
Does this work with private accounts?+
No — only identifiers CapCut's public API exposes are returned. A private or deleted account resolves to nothing.
Is looking up an account's ID against CapCut's terms?+
This reads the same public profile data CapCut's own app and website already display — nothing here is private or hidden.
